Well, here I am again.
I have been pretty quiet because of high anxiety caused by the US elections. I didn’t even realise that I was anxious until a flood of relief washed over me when it became obvious that Biden had won. Usually I give only passing notice to elections on the other side of the world, but this one was super-important: the stability of the whole world hung in the balance. We’re not out of the woods yet, that maniac who still occupies the White House can still do enormous damage. However, at least we now have hope that America will stand for true democracy (well okay, capitalist democracy) and not be completely over run by evil.
I realise Evil is a fraught word, and am usually loath to imagine it as an entity with a life of its own, but sometimes there doesn’t seem like any other explanation.
Anywho, that’s enough about politics, especially when I have no influence whatsoever on its ramifications.
Onto more immediate things.
I have finished Book 2 of the Beaufort Mystery Series and copies of it are in the hands of my cadre of Beta Readers. I was aiming to publish before the end of the year but that’s just not going to happen.
Book 1 has undergone another and a final Title change and is now available as an ebook from Amazon as Escape to Danger. It will soon be available as a paperback from Amazon as well. I am awaiting the arrival of a proof copy. It’s supposed to arrive on 20th November, so all being well should be up before Xmas.

I am also having some copies of the paperback version printed by IngramSparks in Melbourne. I had intended having them in hand by now, but have had such a difficulty getting their requirements right. Hopefully, that is now in hand. Have any of you found difficulty or am I just a bit stupid?
I am planning to have an author reading/signing at the local Rollingstone Community Hall late November or early December, but that is assuming all will run smoothly from here on in. I won’t be holding my breath…yes, I will. I can’t help being a little bit excited…breathe in – 1. 2. 3. Breathe out.
That is all for now so … Ciao for now, Percy Rose.
