Hey there! I am presently in historical Bungendore, a small town in N.S.W. less than an hour from Canberra. I’ve been here visiting my eldest daughter and her family for six weeks. I know, right? That’s a long time to insert myself into their lives, but we get on very well and she is a generous soul. The two boys and her husband have been fabulous. Thanks guys. It is beautiful here with the trees changing colours and fabulous vistas, but has been a wee bit chilly sometimes and has rained quite a bit. Here are some photos.
I haven’t got out and about much, as I have not had my own car, and the family are very busy with their own employment and the boys numerous activities. The is a definite upside to this…I have just written ‘THE END’ to Book 4’s first draft. There is a whole lot of editing to do now; adding, subtracting and research. It’s not even ready for any Beta reading yet, but the nugget of the story is done. Aaaah!
I actually love this part as the book proper rises from the slash and burn, replant and regrowth. I like to print out each chapter and go through it until I’m happy enough to let anybody see it.
Later today, I will be winging my way back to Townsville. It feels sad to say goodbye to this delightful family, but then I get to be with my other daughter and her family…plus, it will be warmer there and this tropical bird needs that.
By the bye, My daughter here, is a Children’s author and her, ‘William Brambleberry, Aviator Mouse’ box set of Book and soft toy are now available through The Military Shop and Australia Post.
